Ibex returns to the parquet after having closed the bearish gap that dragged from January of 2016, when the Spanish index began the year with strong falls. The stock market is struggling to stay above those 9,500, although this Monday has a new opportunity to attack them.

The season of results continues its course, with Bankia as protagonist of the day. After Santander, Bankinter and Sabadell, this Monday tje entity chaired by José Ignacio Goirigolzarri has published its accounts. Consensus expected a drop in net profit for 2016 of 18%, which has finally been 22.7%, to 804 million euros.
In the United States, Donald Trump remains the focus of all protests after introducing bans on entry to the country and ordering the expulsion of refugees from seven Muslim-majority countries. Companies such as Starbucks, Google, Apple or Facebook have already shown their rejection of these measures and the dollar is approaching its lowest level since early December 2016.
