Banks have made the Ibex forget during this session of Catalonia and have also managed to recover the 10,200 points. The selective has risen 0.44% to 10,205.7 points, in a day marked by the beginning of the presentation of results of banks, with Caixabank and Liberbank as protagonists.

Although Banco Sabadell has led the advances, after rising 4.21%, to 1.65 euros. The entity will present its accounts for the first nine months of the year next Friday and will do so from Madrid, after its change of registered office. At the top of the table has been accompanied by Mapfre, which has risen 2.41%.
The banking sector has been boosted by the good performance of CaixaBank, which has risen 0.91%, to 3.86 euros. The profit of the entity was 649 million euros, above that estimated by the consensus of FactSet.
These results are marked by the integration of Portuguese bank BPI. In addition, they are made public in the midst of doubts about the future impact of the crisis in Catalonia. Following the results, Gonzalo Gortázar, CEO of CaixaBank, said that "the impact on the current situation can be seen to a greater or lesser extent reflected in 2018".
The two banks with more weight in the selective have made strong progress. Banco Santander has risen 1.52%, which has made it the third best value of Ibex and BBVA, 1.11%. Bankinter and Bankia also registered a good session, with increases of 0.94% and 0.15%, respectively.
Outside the Ibex 35, Liberbank has been the accountant. The company has lost 337 million euros in the third quarter due to heavy provisions. In the accumulated of the year, it has recorded losses of 270 million euros until September. Liberbank has closed with a rise of 0.27%
On the sales side, Técnicas Reunidas was the worst stock of the session with a fall of 1.82%, after Monday led the progress. Merlin, which has left a 1.1%, and Amadeus, with a fall of 0.81%, have accompanied Técnicas in the bottom of the table.
