La serie está centrada en Chip Baskets (Galifianakis), payaso de formación clásica que termina trabajando en el circuito de rodeo en su ciudad de Bakersfield, en California.
El reparto también incluye a Martha Kelly, Louie Anderson, Sabina Sciubba, y Ernest Adams.
