Muere Wes Craven. Hollywood le rinde homenaje
El mundo del cine y en parte de la televisión está de luto. Wes Craven quizás uno de los máximos exponentes del cine de terror ha fallecido en Los Ángeles a los 76 años de edad a consecuencia de un tumor cerebral.
Craven fue responsable de largometrajes memorables como la saga de que recientemente fue adaptado a la televisión para una serie que emite MTV y l a de Pesadilla en Elm Street, el ajustado thriller Red Eye y la icónica The Last House on the Left.
Asimismo, en la década del ochenta dirigió diversos capítulos de la serie The Twilight Zone.
Craven fue un cineasta sumamente prolífico, cuya carrera excedía las mencionadas sagas y que incluía cintas como The People Under the Stairs, Nightmare Café, Deadly Friend, Swamp Thing y Summer of Fear.
En abril de este año 2015 había firmado un acuerdo con Universal Cable Productions y su cadena hermana SyFy para llevar a la pequeña pantalla su filme El sótano del miedo y el libro We Are All Completely Fine, proyectos que no sabemos por el momento si seguirán adelante o quedarán suspendidos.
Estuvo casado en tres ocasiones y deja atrás a dos hijos, Jonathan y Jessica, fruto de su primer matrimonio con Bonnie Broecker.
