This is Us y Star Trek: Discovery entre las series nominadas a los GLAAD Media Awards

Se han dado a conocer los nominados para los diecinueveavos Premios anuales GLAAD. Las nominaciones se dieron a conocer en el Festival de Cine de Sundance por Trace Lysette de Transparent y Wilson Cruz Star Trek: Discovery, series que por cierto fueron nominadas.

Otros nominados en el apartado de televisión incluyen This is Us, The Handmaid’s Tale, Legion y The Bold Type, la recién cancelada One Mississippi, la última temporada de Sense8 y el revival de Will & Grace. Por primera vez este año, GLAAD honrará contenido inclusivo de LGBTQ en programas infantiles, con Andi Mack y un episodio de Doc McStuffins que presentó a dos madres que eran pareja.

Los premios -que honran a los medios por sus representaciones justas, precisas e inclusivas de la comunidad lesbiana, gay, bisexual y transgénero- serán entregados el 12 de abril en Los Ángeles y el 5 de mayo en Nueva York.
